The Client Project
In your second project, your team is working for an external client. The client has a mobile (web) app they need to deliver and demo in 5 weeks. Before that can happen, they need a working version they can user test within a week! It's a good thing you've learned how to operate at light speed.
The clients come from a variety of sources, including the medical school, alums of Northwestern or their immediate friends, individuals in the community, etc.
Both teams have some key responsibilities:
- Clients: must communicate clearly and effectively their vision, manage the development process, evaluate intermediate products, and adapt goals accordingly.
- Developers: must rapidly come up to speed on the client's vision and constraints, deliver the best product possible in the shortest time possible, and communicate clearly and effectively development progress and issues.
My job is to help both of you learn to do these tasks better.
