Bio |
I am a finishing Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science (EECS) at Northwestern University
and a member of the Northwestern Network Group.
My advisor is Prof. Aleksandar Kuzmanovic.
I received my BE degree from Shanghai
Jiao Tong University in 1998. After that, I worked in the Broadband
Network Department in Alcatel Shanghai Bell (now Alcatel-Lucent) for nearly five years. I was conferred
Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert certificate in 2001. I joined Northwestern University and continued
my study in the computer networking area in 2005.
My latest research focuses on the sustainable development
of the Internet with an emphasis on the user identity solution for the Internet. The title of my dissertation is "IDnet Mesh: Towards user accountability for the Internet".
I'm currently collaborating with the Kellogg Venture Community in an effort to commercialize the central technology proposed in my dissertation.
