The House on the Rock	back THOTR opens for business each year on my birthday, March 15th. I started visiting "the attraction" because admission is free on one's birthday - and it has become a ritual. THOTR is a strange and frightening place, where demons, dolls and red shagg carpeting lure even the most travelled visitors into a spooky trance. This is primarily the result of the length of a visit: It takes 4-5 hours to see all of this amazing, inexplicable collection.
