Brian, my brother, sunning on the deck of my grandparents' house in North Carolina. He was always the cutest kid in the bunch - huge cheeks and giant blue eyes, and just a little shy of strangers. On one visit to NC, Brian got a zillion chigger bites from climbing in their Dogwood trees just before we got into the VW to drive (18+ hours) home. Itchy!!
