Welcome to our wonderful exhibition of contemporary Computer Graphics. Gone are the days, where you'd order a Family Portrait and wait one month to pay exuberant amounts of money to an artist who's got free-spirited ideas about the size of your belly, the wife's nose or the children's ears. You are now a digital snapshot away from customiseable re-renditions of your loved ones... at twenty frames per second!
In the west wing of our gallery, we show you paintings of the early era. These comprise of pictures using a blending-factor of glBlendFunc(GL_SRC_COLOR, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_COLOR);. Notice how some of the Background shows through at places.

The east wing features some of our modern day classics. They were produced by the same artist after having taken part in an alpha-workshop, obtaining the degree of glBlendFunc(GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA);. This in itself was not the main achievement, but getting genuine alpha brushes (and not the imitation LUMINANCE ones) was. Have a look at how the modern day classics differ from the early era. NB: Some of the pictures in this wing may be enlarged by clicking on them.
