Comments

The class is interesting and Bruce as always is a lot of fun -- difficulty scales with how much work you want to put into the class and what you want to get out of it. / Professor Gooch provides a learning environemt that gives you room to explore. His final project was basically anything that related to the class. I would say that if you're cool doing your own thing, take it with Gooch, but if you're not independant, then try another professor. / Good class to help you understand the basics of human perception. We read a (lengthy) chapter from the textbook for one weekly class session and read research papers for the second. We then had to present a project we had been working on throughout most of the quarter. Some of the material covered was very interesting and even if it wasn't, Bruce makes the class enjoyable and worthwhile./ Very interesting class. Bruce is great./ This class was very interesting, but has a lot of reading. If it gets offered again, its worth taking as long as you don't mind the reading.
