Yan Chen Awarded Murphy Society Grant

Computer Science Assistant Professor Yan Chen was recently awarded a Murphy Society Grant of $26,330 from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science for his proposal entitled "Information and Communication Curriculum Development.”

Professor Chen will use this grant for his newly created courses, "Introduction to Computer Security" and "Internet Security,” which will be offered in 2005. He also plans to set up a security lab, and hopes to recruit top undergraduate students for security research.
