Kellogg Entrepreneur Group Forms Partnership with Tomorrow Lab Students

October 22, 2004

InNUvation, the only all-Northwestern entrepreneurship club, recently partnered a group of Kellogg graduate student with a pair of undergraduate Computer Science students working in the Tomorrow Lab to develop an innovative new service utilizing advanced wireless sensor networks. The Kellogg group, working in a business planning class, contacted InNUvation to locate assistance with developing a prototype for their new venture. InNUvation then helped connect the Kellogg group with a pair of Computer Science students who have an interest in wireless sensors. Much of the original technical work was developed in tandem with similar projects in the Tomorrow Lab in the Computer Science Department, and the planning for the business model dovetailed with coursework required in the Kellogg School of Management. The combined team will be building a proof-of concept model later this year to use as a demonstration for investors and business advisors.
