- New uploads: PA5 grades,
final exam scores,
final exam,
final exam with answers,
and the grade summary.
Let me know if you see any errors. If you have questions about the PA5
grading, contact the TA first. Any questions about the final exam, after reviewing
the answered version, contact me. I'll probably enter the grades into Caesar
on Friday.
- 03/13/2008
- PA4 grades have been uploaded,
and the grade summary has been updated.
Let me know if you see any errors. If you have questions about the PA4
grading, contact the TA first.
- 02/19/2008
- PA3 grades have been uploaded,
and the grade summary has been updated.
Let me know if you see any errors. If you have questions about the PA3
grading, contact the TA first.
- 02/15/2008
- The midterm answer key (in PDF format) has been uploaded.
- 02/14/2008
- Grade data has been uploaded in PDF format for
PA2,
the midterm, and
all grades
so far. The TA has checked PA3 for major problems and missing files.
Grades probably won't appear until after the weekend but should be similar to
PA2 grades. As long as your code compiled without warnings and produced the
correct output, you should be OK on PA3.
So what do they mean?
I don't convert
to letter grades but collect all points together at the end. Even if you had
scored 0 on the midterm, at 15% of your grade, it would still be possible
to pass the course. But, barring other factors, I would predict
that anyone who scored 20 or under will
probably struggle through the rest of the course.
An answer key to the midterm will go up over the weekend and
exams will be handed back Monday. Contact me if you need to pick up
your exam Friday.

- PA1 grades are up (PDF file).
Almost everyone did fine. I checked for programs compiling
without errors or warnings. Do not ignore warnings. If you get a
warning, it means the program executable probably won't do the right thing.
A few programs either blew up when run or produced incorrect answers. Also,
I note when file names were not as specified in the PA1 write-up but didn't
not take off points. In the future, incorrectly named or structured submissions
will be returned. I did not grade for programming style. I will post in the
next day or so things to
do and things to avoid, which will apply for PA3 and onward.
